my friends are so big and black
they've always got my back
my friends are so big and strong
work they muscles all day long
my friends take martial arts classes
compared to them you move like molasses
I've got respectable pecks
don't even need to flex 'em
WHO DO YOU THINK THAT YOU TALKING TO,
WHEN YOU TALKING TO ME?
YOU TALKING TO A FIST
WITH IT'S THIMB STICKING OUT
TIMES INFINITY
TELL YOU WHAT I'LL LET IT SLIDE THIS TIME
IF YOU LET IT SLIDE FOR ME
YEAH, I'M TALKING BOUT YOUR BODY
BACK AND FRONT
PERFECTLY

brother's got a golden tooth
he's always smiling just to show you proof
momma's got nothing but love
but she'll fuck you up when push comes to shove
I've got an army of children
and a navy of millions

or better yet. I know something that you can do
you can saddle up, and you can ride with my crew
doesn't matter to me, I've got all that I need
more friends and more family
than you could ever believe
than you'd ever believe

Absolutely ridiculous and brilliant at the same time!!
I couldn't set my favourite tracks (Do Hot Girls Like Chords & It's All Nothing Until It's Everything)
The skill and talent you can hear on this album is just mind blowing. Can't believe I've only just discovered them!
The videos on Youtube are well worth a watch as well - the videos for my favourite two tracks are just brilliant, and are totally worth it to see Sam Wilkes living his best life on the bass!!

My spirits are immediately lifted when I hear the first track in this album. "Funky Duck" is one of few songs that slaps without a drum kit. The rest of the album is a cozy cushion of zen; funky, upbeat, low-volume. This was my chicken soup when I got COVID at the beginning of the year. t0cktock
Melvins fans will flip for this lost ’90s indie classic, with its sludgy guitars, hypnotic rhythms and irresistible hooks. Essential. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 13, 2020

I spent my New Year's hangover listening to "Sky Mall" on repeat, when I discovered my new favorite bass player. "Fugue State" is what you get if the Muscle Shoals musicians took a break to noodle around on Bach and eventually became my wake-up alarm. "First Place" reminds me of that scene in "Clerks" where Randal walks into the adult video store. t0cktock
